ROYAL OPERA HOUSE IN MUSCAT

The Royal Opera House Muscat stands as the foremost arts and culture institution in the Sultanate of Oman. The project was envisaged and commissioned by His late Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said, ruling the Sultanate of Oman from 1970 to 2020. It was inaugurated in the year 2011.

Shanfari was contracted to develop mockups of architectural model in 2007 and in 2009 with specialist Gypsum & Joinery in front of House/Auditorium seating, furniture, organ enclosure, reverberation chamber.
